HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — No serious injuries were reported after multiple crashes that are slowing traffic in the area of Highway 31 and Highway 501, Horry County Fire Rescue said.
Traffic on Highway 31 near Highway 501, back to Carolina Forest Boulevard, is backed up, HCFR said. There are several crashes in the area, one on each side of Highway 31.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
