CONWAY, S.C. — After being named one of the 20 finalists for the All-America City Award, the city of Conway is already setting its sights on another national recognition.
“While our All America City journey has come to an end another one is just beginning,” City Manager Adam Emrick said at Monday’s City Council meeting.
“In the coming weeks we’ll be asking the people of Conway to help [Conway] pursue Hallmark’s Christmas cities recognition… This time it won’t be our voices telling Conway’s story it will be yours. We’ll be asking the residents to share their traditions, their memories and their moments that make Christmas in Conway so special,” Emrick said…
