BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A 19-year-old was killed in an East Baton Rouge Parish crash early Thursday morning after hitting a car that was stopped on the road.
Louisiana State Police reported that a two-vehicle crash before 3 a.m. on Nicholson Drive at Innovation Park Drive left Madison Marshall of Baton Rouge dead. Marshall was reportedly not wearing a seat belt during the crash and was taken to a hospital with critical injuries, where she later died.
According to investigators, Marshall’s car, a Kia K4, hit the back of a Cadillac Escalade that had stopped in the northbound travel lane to help occupants in a disabled Ram pickup truck that was on the right shoulder…
