PERRYSBURG, Ohio (WTVG) – If you haven’t seen spotted lanternflies recently, it’s not because they’re not here yet.
Environmental experts say the bugs are currently in their nymph stage and will reach the more recognizable adult stage in the next few weeks.
“As we sit today, in the middle of July, you can see both stages of the nymph,” said Lauren Rush, the natural resources manager for the City of Perrysburg. “And that is both a small black with white spots, and a slightly larger red with black and white on it as well.”…
