Cyclosporiasis is a foodborne illness caused by a microscopic parasite, with symptoms including severe watery diarrhea, stomach cramps, fatigue and loss of appetite.
Officials say the illness is commonly linked to contaminated fresh fruits and vegetables, including lettuce, basil, cilantro, raspberries, and peas.
