Greenville to review 135-acre annexation application along Woodruff Road

The city of Greenville may soon expand its municipal boundaries further down Woodruff Road through a proposed 135-acre annexation.

Approximately 87.46 acres of real property and 47.6 acres of right-of-way are proposed to be annexed into the city limits. If approved, this would represent the single largest annexation into the city since the Cherrydale area along North Pleasantburg Drive and Poinsett Highway in 2024.

The proposed annexation area includes multiple commercial properties along the high-traffic retail corridor, including the 60-acre Merovan Business Center. Other notable businesses proposed for annexation include:

  • TD Bank
  • Chick-fil-A
  • Zaxbys
  • 7-Eleven
  • Hurricane Express Wash
  • Discount Tire
  • Contender America
  • Paul Mitchell The School Greenville
