MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Breese Stevens Field announced its Friday night Bodega market will be postponed as it heals with the community after a deadly police shooting.
“For 100 years, Breese Stevens Field has existed because of its neighborhood, and this week our neighborhood is hurting,” Breese Stevens Field wrote in a Facebook post. “Like many in our community, we at Breese Stevens Field are grieving alongside our neighbors and Madison community following the tragic death of Corey Ruiz.”
By canceling the Bodega, officials hope it will make space for the community to be able to heal together…
