SCHENECTADY — Cameras appear to be rolling on “The Conjuring: First Communion,” the next installment of the record-breaking New Line horror franchise, currently filming at Armory Studios under the working title “Bridgeport.”
Production trailers and trucks have begun filling the streets around the Schenectady studio space, which recently held an immersive Titanic exhibit open to the public. The studio’s doors are closed to locals now, though, with “The Conjuring” (aka “Bridgeport”) shooting inside the production space located at 125 Washington Ave.
According to a notice posted outside Armory Studios, parking restrictions will be in effect around the studio from 8 p.m. on July 26 through 10 p.m. on July 28, as well as 8 p.m. on July 30 through 8 a.m. on Aug. 1. The streets where parking is restricted are Washington Avenue, Union Street, North Church Street and Front Street, as well as South Church Street between Union Street and State Street…
