I am writing regarding your July 22, 2026 article in the Piedmont Journal Recorder, “Exclusive: Greene sheriff vows to continue ICE work despite protests, legal questions.”
The article identified me by name, reported the pending charges against me, and published Sheriff Smith’s characterization of my conduct. I was not contacted for comment before publication.
