Baytown police chief launches investigation into misuse of Flock cameras by officer

A Baytown police officer has been accused of misusing Flock cameras, the police chief said on Friday afternoon.

According to Baytown Police Chief John Stringer, an internal investigation is underway after he said he received allegations of an officer misusing the Flock License Plate Reader System.

“We take these allegations seriously, and we hold steadfast accountability,” Stringer said in a video posted on social media. “If these allegations are sustained, then the employee involved will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law and policy.”…
