ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Donna Gail Shaw said images from her game camera started off strong in May with one particularly large brown bear in front of her camera posted in the area she calls the Muldoon Swamp in Far North Bicentennial Park. But as far as bears are concerned, Shaw said, things came to a halt shortly after that.
“And all of a sudden the first week in June hit and I didn’t get bears for three straight weeks in June, which was very unusual,” Shaw said.
“And I thought, ‘okay, I’ll just be patient and wait on the fish,’ and the fourth week in June they all arrived.”…
