State Police were dispatched to the scene, located near Exit 21A, at about 4:40 a.m. following a report of a multi-vehicle crash. An investigation reportedly found that a 2021 Ford pickup truck was driving northbound in the southbound lanes when it struck a 2025 Ford pickup truck head-on and caused a southbound tractor-trailer to swerve and overturn.

The driver of the 2025 Ford was taken to St. Peter’s Hospital with minor injuries, according to police. The driver of the 2021 Ford and the driver of the tractor-trailer were reportedly taken to Albany Medical Center, also with minor injuries.
