A Los Angeles man has pleaded not guilty to a scam stemming from almost $20,000 fraudulently taken from a woman in Oxnard, according to authorities.
On Feb. 26, the Oxnard Police Department was contacted by a woman who believed she was a scammed, according to a department news release. Police said someone posing as a major banking company’s fraud department approached her.
