HUTCHINSON COUNTY, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Officials with the Texas Game Wardens report that a man drowned while swimming with a friend overnight on Saturday at Lake Meredith.
According to Texas Game Wardens officials, between midnight and 1 a.m. on Saturday, two men attempted to swim across Harbor Bay. Officials said that in that attempt, one man swam to a closer shoreline after getting tired, while the other continued swimming.
