Circus performer shot in neck with arrow by wife as daring act goes wrong at county fair

A CIRCUS performer has been hit in the neck by an arrow when a daring performance went wrong in front of a terrified audience at a county fair.

The incident happened at approximately 9:30 p.m. on July 24 at the Orange County Fair in the Town of Wallkill.

Ana B. Daza Tavera, 42, and Edwin A. Cuervo Rangel, 38, both of Waukesha, Wisconsin, were performing a crossbow sharpshooting act for spectators.

Tavera fired an arrow at a foam target being held by Rangel — but missed, striking him instead, according to New York State Police…
