Crash-and-grab burglars hit a Shell gas station on the cusp of Chicago’s Lakeview and Lincoln Park communities early Monday morning.
The crash-and-grab happened at the Shell station at 2801 N. Ashland Ave., at the northwest corner of the intersection with Diversey Parkway. Police said at 4:40 a.m., about six people deliberately crashed a sport-utility vehicle into the gas station minimart, went inside, and stole the ATM.
