SPRINGDALE – Magnolia High graduate Jeff Kee, director of bands at Don Tyson School of Innovation (DTSOI), has been selected as the 2026 Arkansas Bandmaster of the Year, one of the highest honors presented to music educators in the state.
The Arkansas Bandmaster of the Year Award recognizes an outstanding band director who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, excellence in music education, service to the profession, and a lasting impact on students and fellow educators throughout Arkansas.
Kee graduated from Magnolia High in 1992. He earned his bachelor of music education degree from Southern Arkansas University in 1996.
