Starting Aug. 3, Fort Collins- and Loveland-area residents hauling away their garbage and junk will no longer climb that familiar dirt hill at the Larimer County Landfill on Taft Hill Road.
Instead, their new destination is just around the corner, where they will follow a paved road to the county’s new Center Diversion and Transfer Station building, 2388 W. Trilby Road.
The 40,000-square-foot building is where most of the county’s solid waste will be dropped, compacted and loaded into trailers for transport to the county’s brand new North Landfill…
