BESSEMER, Ala. (WBRC) – Edith Gibson celebrated a milestone birthday Sunday with help from friends and a classic Disney movie.
Gibson, who turned 101, was honored with a “101 Dalmatians”-themed party at The Oaks on Parkwood in Bessemer. Friends and well-wishers gathered to celebrate, and Gibson spent part of the afternoon looking through old photographs and yearbooks while visiting with guests.
“Life was really good to me. I guess I got good genes,” Gibson said.
