I’m in the parking lot of Maria’s Pizza in Millcreek. I’ll be meeting a group of people here. They are members of a club that promotes the preservation and enjoyment of a certain model of car. The Ford Mustang.
Every week, members of the Lake Erie Mustang Owners Club (LEMOC) meet at Maria’s to have lunch. They arrive at the restaurant in style. Each of them brings the car that they love. The Ford Mustang. Local Mustang owners have been getting together since the late 1970s. The club became official in 1983. Current president Jerry Trocki has been a member for all of those 43 years.
