ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Lollypop Farm is sounding the alarm as capacity is reaching its peak.
The Humane Society of Greater Rochester is caring for nearly 100 dogs and reports its ability to take on additional non-emergency dogs is now stretching into November.
“We’re at a point where the number of dogs in our care is limiting our ability to welcome others who need our help,” said Vicky Pape, Lollypop Farm’s Director of Animal Placement. “When you choose to adopt or foster, you’re not only changing the life of the dog you welcome into your home; you’re helping us create the space to say ‘yes’ to another dog in need.”
