A San Antonio man accused of killing another man after they argued in 2020 has been sentenced to 35 years in prison.
Jesus Monsivais Jr. was 18 when he was charged with murder in the death of Oscar Castillo Jr., 41, who was fatally shot in front of his Northwest Side home on Dec. 29, 2020.
As part of a plea agreement reached Monday before state District Judge Michael Mery, Monsivais pleaded guilty to the murder charge and was sentenced to 35 years. Mery gave him credit for 1,918 days already served in the Bexar County jail…
