EUGENE, Ore. – Adult international adoptees protested Friday outside Holt International’s Eugene headquarters, calling for more accountability and transparency in international adoptions.
The protest, called “A Funeral for Holt,” featured coffins, flowers and moments of silence. The two-hour demonstration allowed every member of the group to voice their frustration with the international adoption industry, while also calling for more accountability from Holt International in particular.
