APD: Police officer charged with DUI no longer with department

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The Anchorage Police Department confirmed Monday that officer Charles Bowser is no longer with the department following his DUI case involving an alleged off-duty drunk driving incident in a patrol vehicle earlier this year.

The department said he officially separated from APD on June 18. Alaska’s News Source asked the department whether he resigned, retired or was fired, but an APD spokesperson said they do not release personnel information.
