NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The company that has provided ankle monitoring for juvenile and adult suspects for 14 years in New Orleans will be cutting back.
ASAP founder Matthew Dennis says the City repeatedly has failed to hold suspects accountable when they violate the rules that come with their probation and ankle monitoring.
On Aug. 1, Dennis says he will end his company’s online access to records, a service he says is currently available to 400 law enforcement and judicial agencies in Orleans Parish.
