Tulare County firefighters head to fight Kern County fire

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A group of Tulare County firefighters left town Tuesday morning to help crews battle the Fish Fire in Kern County.

The Farmersville Fire Department says their team, made up of Firefighter Sandoval, Firefighter Hopf, and Lieutenant Parish, will join Strike Team XTU5176F.

Porterville Fire is also sending their Battalion Chief Pisani as a Strike Team Leader and Battalion Chief Rayburn as a Strike Team Leader Trainee. They say the strike team includes engines from Tulare, Merced, and Mariposa counties…
