Murder trial in woman’s slaying on Monterey St in Bakersfield resumes with testimony from deputies involved in pursuit

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Last week, jurors heard emotional testimony from the children of Taylor Estrada, whose throat was slit by her estranged husband in May of last year.

On Tuesday, deputies involved in the pursuit that ended in the husband’s arrest took the stand, testifying how the defendant blew through several red lights and refused to pull over until stopping at a parking lot near a church.
