CULVER CITY – A month after gunfire erupted near Washington Boulevard and Hughes Avenue, Culver City detectives say weeks of surveillance, search warrants and digital evidence led to the arrest of the suspected shooter.
Police arrested 18-year-old Nicholas Laushaul while executing a search warrant at about 4 a.m. Monday at a Los Angeles residence, where officers also recovered a loaded firearm.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has filed felony charges of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily injury in the case, according to the Culver City Police Department. Police did not specify which charges were filed against each suspect…
