Baton Rouge man wanted for allegedly towing away vehicles, selling them using forged papers

A man is wanted in Baton Rouge for allegedly stealing vehicles with a tow truck and selling them for parts while forging paperwork to scrap them.

Matthew Dunn, 35, is wanted on five counts of theft of a motor vehicle, five counts of filing false public records and four counts of forgery, according to a warrant for his arrest.

Baton Rouge police officers were called on May 14 to the 12000 block of La Margie Avenue in response to a motor vehicle theft. The victim stated he last saw his 2010 Nissan Titan at 8 a.m. then returned about 5:30 p.m. to find it missing, police documents said…
