LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Arkansas Department of Health is reminding families that health units across the state can provide vaccinations and records needed to enroll students for the 2026-27 school year.
The department operates at least one Arkansas Health Unit in every county.
Health officials said vaccinations help protect students and their families from preventable illnesses, including measles, whooping cough and chickenpox. All health units accept insurance, but people without coverage can still receive immunization services at no charge…
