ST. LOUIS – A fourth person is in custody for a fatal shooting just over a year ago in the Walnut Park West homicide.
Jawon Cooper was gunned down just before 10 p.m. on July 17, 2025, in the 5400 block of Park Lane, according to a St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department statement.
Cooper was transported to a nearby hospital after the shooting but was later pronounced dead. He was 27.
