DENVER (KDVR) — Wicked weather struck Boulder County with hail and mudslides as storms struck the area around 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
First, the Colorado Department of Transportation reported around 3:38 p.m. that a mudslide near Lyons caused a closure on U.S. Highway 36.

According to a 3:38 p.m. update, the closure was at Longmont Dam Road, about two miles west of Lyons at milepost 16.2.
