West Nile virus detected on mosquito on Langley Air Force Base in Hampton

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Joint Base Langley-Eustis Pest Management detected West Nile virus on a mosquito on Langley Air Force Base Tuesday, according to a post from Joint Base Langley-Eustis onFacebook.

As a result of the detection, ground fogging operations will be moved forward to Wednesday night to lessen the risk of infected mosquitos. The fogging will begin at around 7 p.m. on July 29.
