Huntsville unveils 14.7-mile greenway loop, enhancing community connectivity

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The City of Huntsville celebrated the completion of a continuous 14.7-mile greenway loop in South Huntsville with a ribbon-cutting Wednesday at 11 a.m.

The event, held at Redstone Road and Haysland Road near Bell Mountain Park, marked the opening of a 1½-mile extension of the Tennessee River Greenway. The new segment runs from Redstone Road to Green Cove Road and includes portions of the Aldridge Creek Greenway.
