LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Council is moving forward with a new ordinance aimed at enforcing rules against illegal signs posted on public property, including lamp posts, utility poles and medians.
The rules apply to signs placed in the public right of way, including signs advertising yard sales, services, political candidates and open houses. City leaders said the ordinance applies only to public property, not private property.
