Eastern part of Main Street in downtown Louisville to convert to 2-way traffic this week

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Drivers in downtown Louisville will soon be able to travel both directions on the eastern part of Main Street.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced Tuesday that the section of Main Street between between Wenzel and 2nd streets will convert to two-way traffic by the end of this week.

Orange cones and barrels have marked the construction zone for months ahead of the change, disrupting traffic patterns. KYTC said the street will officially convert once the work is complete and power is connected to the new traffic signals…
