California semi-truck driver arrested in Escambia County on cocaine charge

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — A semi-truck driver was arrested Sunday on cocaine charges in Escambia County following an inspection by the Florida Office of Agricultural Law Enforcement.

Mukesh Mani, 30, of California, is charged with felony cocaine possession. He was released from jail on $2,500 bond.

“Mani was the driver of a semi-truck and trailer displaying a handwritten tag with no state designation,” OALE says in a release. “The trailer’s registration had expired in 2021. Officers identified Mani through his California driver’s license.”…
