PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A man injured by police following a protest nearly six years ago reached a $300,000 settlement with the city of Providence this month.
Christopher Murphy, 51, of Barrington, said the legal fight stems from his attendance at 2020 protest in support of Jhamal Gonsalves, who was critically injured in a crash involving Providence police.
