An Indianola man has been sentenced after pleading guilty in several Warren County criminal cases.
According to court records, 37-year-old Jacob James Lowe pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine as a third offense, operating while intoxicated second offense, driving while license revoked, and fourth-degree theft. As part of the disposition, several additional charges were dismissed. The court suspended prison and jail sentences in each case and placed Lowe on two years of probation. He was also ordered to continue residential substance abuse treatment, complete any recommended follow-up treatment, and pay restitution in the theft case.
The felony drug charge stemmed from a June 3rd traffic stop by the Indianola Police Department. According to the criminal complaint, an officer stopped Lowe after determining his driver’s license had been revoked. During the arrest, officers allegedly found a bag containing methamphetamine while searching Lowe’s property before releasing it to a passenger in the vehicle.
