OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A crash involving a semi-truck on Interstate 29 left one person dead Wednesday morning.
The crash, which tore the semi in half, was reported at around 6 a.m. on northbound I-29 near the Honey Creek exit. The extent of the scene caused responders to route southbound traffic to the exit before returning them to the interstate.
At about 10:30 a.m., Iowa State Patrol told First Alert 6 that investigators were still at the scene, and warned drivers to expect traffic impacts in that area for some time yet…
