SALEM, Ore. (KATU) — Residents at 26 homes in south Salem are under a precautionary boil water advisory after a brief loss of water pressure during a construction project Wednesday morning.
The City of Salem issued the advisory for homes on Lansford Drive SE and 10th Court SE after water pressure was interrupted shortly after 8 a.m. during routine water main work at the corner of Commercial Street SE and Lansford Drive SE.
City officials emphasized that the advisory is limited to those 26 homes. Water remains safe to drink and use throughout the rest of Salem.
