Teenager sentenced to 6 months after killing 2 people in 2025 south Charlotte crash

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – A teenager accused of killing two people and injuring a child in a December 2025 high-speed crash in south Charlotte pleaded guilty this week.

On Wednesday, June 28, 19-year-old Jason Anthony Scott pleaded guilt to two counts of involuntary manslaughter and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, according to court documents.

Court documents said Scott will serve six months in jail, before being placed on probation for three years. His driving privileges are also revoked and he must provide a DNA sample…
