Suspect in fatal Marion hit and run arrested in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – The suspect in a fatal hit-and-run crash in Marion County was arrested Wednesday in Columbus.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Devon R. Kennedy, 47, of Detroit, was arrested at a Columbus home by the patrol’s Special Response Team. He is charged with aggravated vehicular homicide, a third-degree felony.

Police said that the crash happened at approximately 7:20 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. Route 23 near State Route 98 in Pleasant Township. Watch the latest headlines from NBC4 in the player above.
