Contractors have completed repairs to the sinkhole on Tommy Lee Fuller Drive, and the road officially reopened Wednesday afternoon, July 29.
The road had been closed since July 17 after a large sinkhole developed near Alexander Crossing following heavy storms. Engineers assessed the damage before crews began repairs, with the closure later extended to allow contractors additional time to complete the work safely and ensure the long-term durability of the roadway.
