An online fundraiser launched to support the family of a Los Angeles firefighter killed in an off-duty crash has sparked an outpouring of support from colleagues, friends and community members.
The GoFundMe had raised nearly $20,000 from 175 donations as of Wednesday, with organizers remembering the firefighter as a devoted husband, son, brother, friend and public servant.
