A popular Central Texas-based liquor brand is building a new space in honor of its iconic straight bourbon whiskey label and roots in the live music capital. Still Austin Whiskey Co. announced that it is expanding to open a new entertainment and cocktail venue in South Austin.
The distillery is planning to open Still Quarter, a “15,000-square-foot hospitality destination,” in September at 4211 Willow Springs Road, according to a release. This new venue, inspired by the story of the Musician, Still Austin’s flagship Straight Bourbon Whiskey, is hoping to become a revolutionary gathering space for music lovers and fans to experience live music and cocktails unlike anywhere else.
“The Still Austin Quarter is everything we imagined when we thought about what it would mean to bring The Musician to life beyond the bottle,” said Chris Seals, Still Austin’s co-founder and CEO in a release. “The vision is rooted in this story: the experience of stepping inside her home and seeing her journey as an artist unfold.”
