COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Officials have identified a woman who died Saturday in a head-on crash in northeast Columbus.
Officers responded to a crash at around 2:30 p.m. A 2020 Toyota Sienna was turning right onto Cleveland Avenue off of Oakland Park Avenue, when the vehicle left the right side of the road and struck a light pole, entering a parking lot. The vehicle then traveled through the parking lot and hit a parked 2014 Hyundai Tuscon head on.
Marilyn Patterson, 73, the driver of the Hyundai, was taken to a hospital in critical condition. The Franklin County Coroner’s Office confirmed Thursday that she died just before 10 that night. See the latest headlines from NBC4 in the video player above.
