DES MOINES, Iowa — Authorities say a section of University Avenue has been closed after a crash in Des Moines’ Cheatom Park Neighborhood.
Multiple people fall ill from ‘suspicious’ odor at MercyOne Health facility in Ankeny
The Des Moines Police Department and Fire Department say they were called to University Avenue, between 14th Place and 15th Street, on reports of a crash shortly before 1:15 p.m.
Emergency personnel arrived on scene and found a single-vehicle crash with minor injuries. Crews also found a downed utility pole and wires in the roadway.
