Springfield man sentenced to four years for drug related crimes

SPRINGFIELD, Mo – A 32-year-old Springfield man originally charged with drug possession, resisting arrest and driving while revoked has pleaded guilty to the drug charge and was sentenced to four years in prison.

Terrence Courtney entered the plea on Wednesday, July 29, under a plea agreement and was sentenced by Circuit Judge Todd Myers.

Courtney was arrested and charged in June after an early-morning attempted traffic stop for expired tags, according to a probable cause statement…
