An Erie dentist is combining a love of golf with a passion for helping cancer patients access critical dental care.
Dr. Susan Calderbank of the LECOM Dental Clinic hosted a golf tournament at Ridge Golf Course in Waterford to raise money for The Marge Fund, a program that provides free dental care for individuals undergoing cancer treatment.
The fundraiser was inspired by a deeply personal experience. Dr. Calderbank said her late mother’s battle with cancer motivated her to help other patients facing similar challenges.
